Penza, 25 April 2014. PenzaNews. The “Readings from Lermontov” project devoted to the poet’s 200th anniversary will be carried out in Penza from May 16 to September 12, 2014.

According to the information submitted by the City Administration Press Center to agency “PenzaNews,” the solemn events will be held every Friday and Saturday at 17:00.

“All the culture community will take part in this campaign. Special shows that include literary-musical compositions and concerts were prepared by students of general education institutions and children’s music and art schools, as well as professional performance groups, teachers and librarians,” the city hall spokesperson specified.

The Penza administration representative added that the verse recital competitions will be open for all visitors.

“Due to repairs in Lermontov public garden, the events will be held in Denis Davydov public garden,” the Press Center spokesperson clarified.
