Penza, 20 May 2014. PenzaNews. Artists of folk dance ensemble “Venzelya” celebrated its 80th anniversary with a grand concert, which took place on the stage of Penza Regional Drama Theater named after A. Lunacharsky.

Congratulating the dancers on the anniversary of the ensemble, the deputy chairman of the City Duma Zhigansha Tuktarov thanked them for many years of fruitful activities aimed at preserving and strengthening the cultural traditions of the region.

“I sincerely wish you good health, happiness, prosperity, joy, peace, kindness, harmony, patience, further success and new achievements towards choreographic Olympus,” he said.

As a gift, Zhigansha Tuktarov presented the ensemble with a vase with symbols of Penza City Duma and a bouquet of flowers.

The dancers were also congratulated by the head of the department of culture of Penza Vera Feygina, the deputy chairman of the Legislative Assembly Alexander Eremkin and other officials.

Artists performed old favorites, as well as brand new productions.
