Penza, 21 August 2014. PenzaNews. The library of Oksana Bogdanova, late professor at the Russian State University for the Humanities, was donated to “Tarkhany” Penza State Museum-Reserve.

As a representative of museum administration told news agency “PenzaNews,” Oksana Bogdanova had been collecting literature on Mikhail Lermontov throughout her whole life.

“Oksana Erastovna [Bogdanova] is no more, and the books were donated by her daughter Milana. The Tarkhany museum is deeply grateful to her for this decision,” the agency interlocutor said.

According to the museum spokesperson, this gift enriched the library fund of “Tarkhany” with 112 books. Among these are many materials published in late 19th to early 20th century, complete works of M. Lermontov, as well as editions of the poet’s works released after the Russian revolution in French, Ukrainian and other languages.
