Penza, 10 November 2014. PenzaNews. The annual international festival “To the beat of capoeira” will take place in Penza on November 18-23.

The event is organized by the regional department of “Youth Guard of United Russia” and the Penza group of the well-known school “Arte de Gingar so capoeira.”

The hosts of the festival will be distinguished capoeira masters from Brazil, Portugal, Kazakhstan and Russia: Luis Santos Barbosa, Fabricio Perez Barbosa, Danila Pleshkov, Kirill Sharov and Rinat Abbyasov.

According to the plans, the event will culminate in an open training session organized by the Brazil masters which will take place in “Centralniy” sports and recreation center on Bakunina street at 19.00 on Thursday, November 20. Everybody is actively invited to come to the event and try themselves in the sports discipline.

The festival will also feature capoeira and acrobatics training sessions, lessons on popular and folk Brazil dances and songs, as well as a chance to learn Portuguese and play folk drums.
