The resulting performance will feature three components: a concert, a competition and an audience education session. Pauses between songs will be used to help regular people get acquainted with achievements and plans of Penza tourists, ecologists, eco-activists and RGS members of “Green patrol” movement.
“Guitar poetry is the cultural foundation and the core of the finalized festival schedule. Any style of music performed live that finds its adoring listener is welcome, just as joint performances and artistic cooperation during the event. The festival will be ready to provide space for theater, dance, poetry and visual projects. Entry and participation is free of charge,” Igor Pantyushov, chairman of the regional Russian Geographic Society branch, told PenzaNews agency.
He expressed hope that “Ursa Major” festival that originated in 2013 will become a notable regional event that unites people who care about their native nature and culture.
