Penza, 9 April 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Vasily Bochkarev offered Kirill Zastrozhniy, deputy head of the Department of Culture and Archive, to head the Savitsky Picture Gallery.

“We need people who know the sphere of culture and can do art,” Vasily Bochkarev wrote in his Twitter after meeting him early on Thursday, April 9.

Kirill Zastrozhniy is yet to announce his reaction. Currently, the deputy head of the Department of Culture and Archive is unavailable for comment.

The seat of director of the Penza Savitsky Picture Gallery is currently vacant, after Valery Sazonov has passed away after heading the cultural institution for over 40 years.
