Penza, 16 May 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza folk dance ensemble “Venzelya” will soon be leaving for a performance tour.

The ensemble led by Larisa Alexeeva will take place in the 9th Country-Wide Russian Dance Festival “Circle Dances All Round Russia” that will take part in Moscow at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the Penza Department of Culture informed PenzaNews agency.

“The festival will be held in memory of the professor Tatyana Ustinova, USSR folk artist, holder of Soviet and Russian state awards,” they added.

The Tatyana Ustinova all-Russian folk dance holiday will be held from May 21 to May 24, the department added.

“Following the tradition, the last year’s winner opens the next year’s festival. The ensemble ‘Venzelya’ was granted this honor in 2015,” the city’s Department of Culture and Archive clarified.
