The event that took place on Monday, May 18, was once again attended by Pierre-Michel Verbeurgt, who had been a guest of the concert a year ago.
The French song festival has turned into a festive meeting of friends a long time ago, he noted.
The concert that lasted for two hours was made of performances of over two dozens of young singers-students from PSU and pupils of Penza, Kuznetsk and Zarechny schools.
Both well-known performers and brand-new singers pleased the audience with French pop music from different epochs.
The festival was concluded by a dedication to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, when the performers sang “Normandie-Niemen” and “Katyusha” in French and Russian, reports the PSU press service.
