Actors, acting teachers to present joint play in Penza

Penza, 24 May 2015. PenzaNews. The Roadside Theater (Teatr na Obochine) will present its new play called “A Performance Class” at the scene of “Yunost” Penza youth center on Sunday, June 7. The play will feature both young acting students and their tutors on the same stage.
The audience will enjoy the works created during the relentless training sessions that normally remain unseen by the public: small scenic episodes, actor’s readings, “live paintings,” “big watches” and other exercises for actors.
The play will feature excerpts from Ivan Goncharov, Ivan Bunin, Vasily Zhukovsky, Ivan Krylov, Grigory Oster, Ray Bradbury, Ernest Hemingway, Oscar Wilde, Miguel de Cervantes, and more.
The play directed by Marina Mikhaylova will last 1 hour 30 minutes, and the tickets are priced at 150 rubles, says the Roadside Theater site.
