Penza to hold concert dedicated to Mikhail Lermontov’s works on July 3

Penza, 17 June 2015. PenzaNews. A concert titled “I love my homeland…” dedicated to the works of the famous Russian poet, writer and playwright Mikhail Lermontov will be held on Friday, July 3, at the Penza Regional Philarmonic Hall.

The event will involve the actors of the Penza regional Lunacharsky Drama Theater Albert Ibraev and Grigory Mazur, as well as an opera singer from St. Petersburg, whose name currently remains unknown.
Moreover, the Penza public expects a performance of the Gubermatorial Symphonic Chapel led by the renowned culture artist Vladimir Kashirsky, accompanied by the performance of Evgeny Yuzhin, holder of the level 1 award of “Romansiada” contest, contestant of “Glavnaya Stsena” project of Russia TV channel.
They will sing lyrical songs after the works of Mikhail Lermontov, as well as excerpts and fragments of his poems.
According to the press service of the Penza Regional Philarmonic Hall, the concert will begin at 19.00.
