Penza, 10 October 2015. PenzaNews. An evening dedicated to the memory of Victor Ogarev, Distinguished Worker of Arts of Russia, dedicated to his would-be 65th anniversary, took place on Friday, October 9, in the lesser hall of the Penza regional Lunacharsky Drama Theater.

The foyer of the Drama Theater on that day housed a photo exhibition compiled by the Penza Museum of Local Lore.

In particular, it included the photos of Victor Ogarev during his years in the Tambov and Penza Philharmonic Halls, as well as on performances of vocal and musical ensembles he worked with.

Moreover, a series of photos was dedicated to Victor Ogarev’s record as the head of the Penza Drama Theater that spanned over nearly 20 years of his life.

Another series of pictures captured the master of cultural arts during his work as the Minister of Culture in the Penza region, as well as his billboards, vinyls and poetry books.

During the event, family, friends, colleagues and other people influenced by Victor Ogarev shared their memories of the renowned person and his great contribution to development of culture in the region.

According to his mother, Anastasiya Ogareva, the sun always shines on her son’s birthday.

The actor Artem Tikhomirov recided Victor Ogarev’s poems, while Albert Ibrayev and Victor Ogarev’s daughter Diana, who frequently accompanied her father on stage, performed songs by the master of cultural arts.
