Playwright Olga Mikhaylova, theater critic Grigory Zaslavsky visit Penza play

Penza, 8 November 2015. PenzaNews. Olga Mikhaylova, playwright from Moscow and author of “Left-Hand Path,” has visited the second premier of the eponymous play that was held in the Penza Lunacharsky Drama Theater on Saturday, November 7.

Another honored guest of the event was Grigory Zaslavsky, theater critic, deputy head of the culture department for Nezavisimaya Gazeta newspaper, “Vesti FM” radio host, member of the Ministry of Culture civil council, member of the Theater Union of the Russian Federation committee on critics and theater management.

The list of the high-esteemed viewers in the audience was further expanded by Nadezhda Potapova, deputy director of “Tarkhany” State Museum-Reserve; and Yulia Sablina, academic secretary of the museum.

The second premier play, just like the first, had no seats left unoccupied.

Before the start of the play, Sergei Kazakov, artistic director of the theater, Distinguished Artist of Russia, and Evgeny Shilov, acting head of the Department of Culture and Archive of the Penza region, made short speeches.

After the end of the play, Olga Mikhaylova and Grigory Zaslavsky had an opportunity to talk to the actors involved, as well as producer Alexander Barkar and assistant producer Artem Samokhin.
