Penza, 11 December 2015. PenzaNews. Mass drunk driver checks have begun in Penza city and the region in the morning of Friday, December 11. They will last throughout the weekend.

“During this campaign, we will conduct mass checks of vehicles in order to identify potential drunk drivers, following with on-the-place or dedicated medical examinations. We ask the drivers to show understanding during the checks,” the press service of the press office of the Penza region traffic police department informed PenzaNews agency.

The department also urged the citizens of the region to report any DUI causes.

“If you see a drunk person driving a vehicle, please report it to traffic police officers by calling: +7 (8412) 59-90-02, 59-90-03, 59-90-04, 59-90-72, or 02,” the traffic police said.
