Penza citizens enjoy “Christmas in Dutch”

Penza, 20 December 2015. PenzaNews. Henk Verhoef, professor of the Amsterdam Conservatorium, organist of Oude Kerk, has performed a concert “Christmas in Dutch” in the Penza regional Philharmonic Hall on Saturday, December 19.

The performance was divided into two parts.

The first part featured items by Dutch composers Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck and Hendrick Andriessen, the Czech composer Antonin Dvorak, and Johann Sebastian Bach.

The second part was dedicated to compositions by Niels Gade, Franz Liszt and other famous music-writers, says the website of “Penzaconcert.”
