Penza, 15 January 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza Lermontov regional library will host an exhibition “Portraits of Genius Writers: M.E. Saltykov-Shchedrin, 1826-1889” on January 15-31.

It is dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the birth of the major Russian writer celebrated on January 27, says the website of the library.

The exhibition will feature items related to life and literary work of Mikhail Saltykov-Shchedrin, his connections to the Penza region, as well as the works written by the author in various years.
