It is reported that Victor Kartsev, honorary academician of the Russian Academy of Arts and board chairman of the Cultural Heritage foundation, will hold a speech about his foundation and the museum’s opening.

The Lesser Hermitage is a non-commercial charity project that involves donating fully-legal professionally-made museum copies of paintings by renown masters to picture galleris of Russian cities.

The exhibition in Penza will feature copies of worldwide-popular paintings kept in galleries and private collections all over the world, including religious, secular, portrait and landscape works, says the website “Museums of the Penza Region.”
