Penza, 18 May 2016. PenzaNews. Penza city will join the Russian countrywide song marathon “A Pesnya v Rossiyi – Na Vse Vryemena” dedicated to Day of Slavonic Literature and Culture (celebrated on Tuesday, May 24) for the second time.

The related concert at the Yubileynaya square will begin at 13.00, the press service of the Penza region Department of Culture and Archive informed PenzaNews.

“It will also be dedicated to the end of the first grade of Russian language studies and be focused on beginner school students. This is why the list of songs will feature [the children’s alphabet book song] ‘Nash Bukvar’ by Alexandra Pakhmutova, ‘Nichevo Na Svete Lutsche Netu’ from ‘The Bremen Musicians’ cartoon, ‘Pust’ Vsegda Budet Solntse’ by Arkady Ostrovsky, and other popular children’s songs,” they clarified.

Moreover, according to them, the event will featured the gubernatorial symphonic chapel headed by the Renown Master of Arts of Russia Vladimir Kashirsky, the choirs of the Penza State University and the arts colleges, and ensembles from children’s musical schools.

“Additionally, we will set up two festive platforms that day, as the culture and leisure center and the Penza Arts College will join the campaign,” the press service added.
