Penza “Dom Meyerkholda” theater artistic director Nataliya Kugel celebrates anniversary
Penza, 5 June 2016. PenzaNews. Nataliya Kugel, Distinguished Worker of Arts of Russia, stage director and artistic director of “Dom Meyerkholda” theater is celebrating her 70th anniversary on Sunday, June 5.

She received congratulations from the Penza city mayor Victor Kuvaytsev.
“Your bright talent and truly relentless persuasion helped you fully realize your versatile artistic potential and make a truly valuable contribution to preserving the cultural heritage of the Sura land. Your years of work with establishing and developing the first Russian memorial to Vsevolod Meyerkhold, great reformer of our national theatrical art, is worth all feelings of awe and respect,” says his letter of gratitude.
According to the letter, Nataliya Kugel successfully implemented her idea to create “Dr. Dappertutto’s Theater,” a one-of-a-kind project.
“Even now, the troupe headed by you continues to preserve the best traditions of our famous compatriot. Every play by your famous troupe stuns the audience with original artistic ideas, innovative staging, and becomes an event of its own in the cultural life of Penza,” it adds.
According to the note, another point that deserves great commendation is Nataliya Kugel’s personal stance, persistence in approaching her objectives, and dedication to the chosen path.
“From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for the years of work for the good of the Penza land and our country. I wish you sound health, prosperity, wishes coming true, inspiration, and strength for your plans for the good of Penza and the Penza region!” the city hall press service quotes the letter.
