Penza, 6 June 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza art hall “Kvartal Louie” will host an art evening “Sadness and Smile of Louis” on Friday, June 10. It will be dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the world-famous jazz musician Louis Armstrong.

The schedule will feature the debut performance of the theater studio “Behind the Curtains of Jazz,” Maria Lvova-Belova, chairman of the Penza civil organization “Blagovest,” director of “Kvartal Louie” center for wheelchair users, told PenzaNews.

“It includes students of ‘Kvartal Louie’ and more. […] They have been preparing for over a year, and it will be their first art evening,” she explained.

As Maria Lvova-Belova clarified, the art evening will be set up as a play with jazz elements.

Moreover, the performance will include songs by Penza musicians Mikhail Nasonov and Igor Gavrilov.
