“The play is shaped as a third-party dialogue between the two wise poets. Evgeny Yevtushenko and David Samoylov knew each other. Both wrote about the place of a man in the life and his relationship with it,” a Lunacharsky Penza Drama Theater actor Pavel Tachkov, who features in the play, told PenzaNews.

Even though the topic of the play was not easy, the artists managed to find the necessary points to balance it, he noted.

“I believe the play will be particularly interesting to the adult audience, to people of our age,” he suggested.

Along with Pavel Tachkov will be joined in the play by Pavel Belov, actor of the literary chamber theater “Poet’s Voice,” with musical accompaniment by Sergei Fadeev.

The tickets for the musical and poetry play will cost 100 rubles each.
