Penza, 25 October 2016. PenzaNews. The 10th interregional theatre festival of amateur theatre groups “Wondrous Moment” will be held in Penza from October 30 to November 5.

“Despite difficult economical situation, the tenth interregional festival of theatre group “Wondrous Moment” will still, thank God, be held, unlike the “Maskerad” festival. We are very happy that this festival will be held because it is a noble thing,” the artistic director of the Penza Lunacharsky Regional Drama Theatre, the chairman of the festival’s jury Sergei Kazakov said during the press conference on Tuesday, October 25.

According to him, the “Wondrous Moment” festival in 2016 will be devoted to two remarkable dates.

“This year, the festival is devoted to two events, very good ones – the 90th anniversary of the Railway Workers’ Palace of Culture and the 100th anniversary of the Penza Drama Theatre building. At this place, there used to be a building, it used to be the people’s house, and this, as you can imagine, is a place of creative teams, so this is a celebration of creative work in the grand scheme of things,” Sergei Kazakov said.
