Penza, 29 October 2016. PenzaNews. Campaign “National literatures in the intercultural dialogue of nations” will be held in Penza on Wednesday, November 2.

The event, dedicated to the National Unity Day, will start at 13.00 at the governor’s hall of the Lermontov library.

Before the event, the exhibition “Dialogue of peoples – dialogue of literatures” will be presented to participants. The exposition includes a collection of books and corners, providing insight into the traditions of the peoples of the region.

At 14.00, the people gathered will be invited to discuss the book “Zuleikha opens her eyes” by Guzel Yakhina. Special extracts of the book will be read by the members of the creative workshop of Natalia Arefieva.

At the same time – from 12.00 to 16.00 – the evening event “Images of culture” will take place, which is expected to gather fans of painting. The leading speakers will be representatives of the Children’s Art School No. 1 named after V.E. Tatlin and the artist Rashid Yanov. The participants of the event are recommended to bring paper, pencils and paints.

In the book cinema hall, within the framework of the campaign there will be shown films, created by “Globus” video studio, which are dedicated to representatives of different nationalities. The viewers will also see films based on works of famous national authors, the website of the regional library reports.
