Penza, 12 December 2016. PenzaNews. The artists Artur Gultyaev and Ilya Sokolov made the graffiti with Konstantin Anokhin portrait, the first Penza region resident who received the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, posthumously, on the wall of house No. 51 in Chkalova street in Penza.

The work on the picture entitled “He died so that we live” was started on December 9.

It is the first project in the Penza region within the initiative “Our heroes” that is realized in cooperation with the Russian war historical society and the regional department of the organization with the support of the regional government and the city administration

Earlier, the deputy chief of the regional government Oleg Yagov reported about the initiative to create several patriotic graffiti.
