Turning to those present, the director of the K.A. Savitsky picture gallery Kirill Zastorozhny emphasized that during the several months when the exposition was open in the governor's house, it was visited by about 10,000 people.

"Now for a long time it will become an art centre of such large area as Arbekovo with the population of over 100,000 people," he noted.

Kirill Zastorozhny reported that the head of the department of culture of Zarechny Nikolai Sizov already submitted an application for the exhibition "Small Hermitage".

"The exhibition will be held in different areas of the Penza region and after that, it will remain in the collection of the picture gallery," he added.

In turn, the director of the regional Lermontov library Marina Osipova expressed her hope that the exhibition will be popular.

"There is much discussion about whether there is a need in such exhibitions? I think that such exhibitions are needed, especially in new residential areas. You may ask why. We have certain reasons to admire – in this exhibition hall you can find books of various reproductions of the greatest artists and their works from the best world museums. I think that this exhibition will make people want to visit the Hermitage and Prado museums, or another great museum, and of course, I hope that such dreams will come true. And those who will manage to visit these places, will tell everyone that the idea came to their minds in the Lermontov museum," Marina Osipova said.
