Penza, 9 February 2017. PenzaNews. The project "Local culture centre", the realization of which will be started by the party "United Russia" in 2017, is really actual now. Such opinion was expressed by the director of the regional Lermontov library, co-chairman of the regional executive committee of the Russian National Front Marina Osipova.

"In due time, 'United Russia' initiated a number of programmes and projects aimed at support of libraries, film industry and museums. Thanks to this, we managed to replenish the book fund, to organize and to hold festivals and exhibitions. Nowadays, active help is needed by culture centres in our villages," she said.

Marina Osipova noted that culture centres are arteries of culture life in villages, they perform the functions of libraries, hobby clubs, and workshops.

"We should invest much money to bring in order buildings of the culture houses, to renew lighting and sound equipment, to buy costumes for performers and materials for creative activities. It is necessary to do so in order to implement the most interesting projects and ideas, which workers of village culture centres, who are talented and devoted to their profession, have in plenty. We should do everything so that culture houses become a cozy and interesting place, where people would like to come to in order to get pleasure enjoying the beautiful," the press service of the regional department of "United Russia" quotes the director of the regional library.
