Penza, 20 February 2017. PenzaNews. Last week Penza city libraries presented residents of the city with nearly 500 books.

All these days, workers of the libraries collected books from readers and then presented the received editions to children. The week of presenting books was held in the city for the first time.

In addition, librarians conducted literature games and made readers familiar with good books. Thus, city library No. 6 was visited by about 100 school pupils in three days. They got to know books of domestic and foreign authors, as well as periodical literature for children. Kindergarten children could enjoy an entertaining video and a quiz.

Adults were invited to take part in the event held in city library No. 1. They contributed to the organization of the exhibition, where the presented books were demonstrated.

Participants of the action also received bookmarks with the inscription "Present books with love", the website of the Penza centralized library system reports.
