Semen Goltsman awarded with badge “To glory of Penza land”

Penza, 5 March 2017. PenzaNews. The honorary badge “To the glory of the Penza land” was awarded to the musician Semen Goltsman during his jubilee evening held in the Penza Lunacharsky Regional Drama Theatre on Friday, March 3.

Congratulating the musician with the received award, the deputy chief of the regional government Oleg Yagov noted that there is not a single person who does not know the name of Semen Goltsman.

"I also studied in a musical school and when I go to your concerts I understand that my skills are at least ten times worse than yours. The reason for this is that it is not you who plays but your soul," he said.

In turn, Semen Goltsman emphasized that it was a great pleasure for him to receive the badge.

"The title of the award 'To the glory of the Penza land' sounds very cordial. This is for the sake of what we live and work," he emphasized.

In turn, the deputy chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the region Alexander Eremkin expressed his hope that Penza citizens will be able to enjoy performances of the musician for a long time.

"A lot of present and future performers grew up listening to your music. You cultivate love to art in our residents," he noted and presented Semen Goltsman with a certificate of honour of the regional parliament.

The head of the city Valery Savelyev was also among those who congratulated the performer. He presented the medal “For improvement of Penza”.

During the celebration, the atmosphere of which was very cordial, the Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation, the art director of the "Imperial Russian Ballet" Gediminas Taranda, the People's artist of Russia Alexei Mochalov and the Honoured Artist of Russia Valery Yashin gave a congratulatory speech from the stage. They congratulated Semen Goltsman and gave a performance.

Spectators also saw a "Goltsman Ballet" performance as well as the ensembles "Kazachya Zastava", "Zorenka", and "Kabluchok".

In addition, people enjoyed participation of Anton and Victoria Makarsky.

The Penza actor Mikhail Kaplan, who was not able to come to the charity concert, sent Semen Goltsman a video congratulation.
