Penza, 4 June 2017. PenzaNews. Celebrations devoted to traditional Erzya holiday Poksh Erzyan Chi were held in the village Pazelki of the Bessonovsky area of the Penza region on Sunday, June 4.

The holiday gathered residents of nearby settlements as well as guests from Mordovia.

Changeable weather established during the event – before the start, the sky was cloudy and it began to hail, but then the sun came out.

Everyone could get acquainted with works of folk craftsmen who carefully preserve folk traditions. Guests of the celebrations also had a chance to do circle dances to Mordovian songs.

During an official part, invited guests including the governor Ivan Belozertsev addressed to the audience.

The celebration was followed by performance of folk groups.
