Literary bivouac to work in Penza every weekend

Penza, 11 June 2017. PenzaNews. The project "Literary bivouac", which has allowed Penza residents and guests of the city visiting reading halls under the open sky three years in a row, will work every weekend. Such decision was made by the mayor Victor Kuvaytsev.

"This wonderful project does not only promote reading among young people but also draws Penza residents' attention to libraries, lets the people learn about their resources and spend their free time in a useful way. It must work on a permanent basis taking into account the weather conditions, of course," he said during a visit to the Denis Davydov public garden, where a new season of the project started on Saturday, June 10.

Taking into account the request of the director of the Penza centralized library system Galina Aseeva it was decided to use the Denis Davydov public garden in order to conduct the literary bivouac on weekends, the press service of the mayor's office reports.
