Penza, 21 June 2017. PenzaNews. Rare photos of 1914-1915 that depict workers of the Penza province zemstvo were transferred to the collection of the Penza Museum of Local Lore.

The new exhibits were transferred to the cultural institution by the holder of post-doctoral degree in medicine, the head of the laboratory of clinical decision support system, the professor of the Department of Medical Cybernetics and Informatics of Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University under the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Boris Kobrinsky.

He received the photographs from his grandfather – German Shub, who is depicted in the picture among other people. From 1909 to 1916, he had worked in the statistical office of the Penza zemstvo.

"Unfortunately, until now the museum did not have materials relating to work of the Penza province zemstvo. These valuable photographs will serve as a start of an academic research," the cultural institution noted.
