The head of the Federal Fiscal Enterprise Rosgostsirk (Russian State Circus Company) Dmitry Ivanov who visited the construction site of the Penza circus last Friday, July 14, expressed confidence that the venue, the construction of which was suspended, will be opened in the 2019 year.

“The process should be completed. There will be a result if there is both authorities’ interest and rich circus traditions in the region. I see you are ready to finish the matter so that we could come to Penza to cut the ribbon at the ceremonial opening of the circus and bring here a good program,” he said commenting on what he saw.

After visiting the site, during an extended meeting in the government of the region Dmitry Ivanov discussed with the governor Ivan Belozertsev a number of technical aspects related to the completion of the construction.

The director of the Penza State Circus Lyudmila Kipurova also took part in the discussion.

As the head of the region noted, Penza authorities are eager to work together.

“When you visited the site you saw how grand the venue is, it should be completed,” the press service of the regional government quotes Ivan Belozertsev.
