Penza, 20 November 2017. PenzaNews. Alexander Muravyev from Penza together with Nikita Volodin from the Leningrad region won bronze medals at the World Snooker Championship "Free pyramid – team competitions", which finished in Rostov-on-Don on Sunday, November 19.

The tournament was attended by 32 male and 16 female teams.

For the first time, players from 12 countries participated in the championship. Russia was represented by nine pairs, which included 19 international masters of sport and three honoured masters of sport.

The prize money was 6 million roubles.

For the third place, the winners will receive 450,000 roubles.
