Penza, 22 November 2017. PenzaNews. The 9th interregional fair-exhibition "The World of Books on Penza Land" was opened at the premises of the regional M. Lermontov library on Wednesday, November 22.

The event, which will last until the end of the current week, will be the final one devoted to the 120th anniversary of the institution.

The participants will be given an opportunity to learn about books printed by different publishers, to visit exhibitions and other cultural events.

According to the director of the Penza regional library Marina Osipova, in the Belinsky hall there is a unique collection of 79 books that have received a "Russian Booker" nomination.

"We are the only region that has this collection," she noted.

Guest events in the Sputnik City, Zarya neighbourhood and schools of the city will also be organized within the fair-exhibition.
