Penza, 23 November 2018. PenzaNews. The work of the artist Ilya Repin "Portrait of priest Grigory Spiridonovich Petrov" replaced the picture "Girls-sisters" by Ivan Makarov in the Museum of One Picture of Penza.

Previously, the portrait was exhibited in K.A. Savitsky Penza Art Gallery – the Museum of One Picture is its branch.

Visitors are invited to get acquainted with the work. For this purpose, the film "Incomprehensible Repin" was made, which deals with life of the artist, interesting facts from his work, as well as the fate of priest and public figure Grigory Petrov.

The film crew visited St. Petersburg, Repino and Moscow.

Actor Alexander Kupriyanov, who acts the part of Ilya Repin, came from the capital to St. Petersburg to take part in the process.

Actor of the A.V. Lunacharsky Penza Regional Drama Theatre Pavel Tachkov was the presenter of the film, the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism informs.
