The literature was given free of charge within the framework of the agreement concluded with the regional office of the Federal Service for Execution of Punishment in Russia. These were "Thoughts of Wise People for Every Day" by Leo Tolstoy, the Bible and popular science works of Russian journalist Asya Kazantseva.

Head of the Department of Educational and Social Work with the Convicts of the regional office Pavel Starikov noted that there were no blind or visually impaired convicts at that moment.

"If such a category of citizens appear, they will have an opportunity to attend the library and use the specialized literature," the press service of the regional office of the Federal Service for Execution of Punishment in Russia quotes Pavel Starikov.
