Penza, 12 March 2019. PenzaNews. Presentation of the book-album about the Penza region "With soul, brush and pen" will be held in the auditorium of the Lermontov Library on Thursday, March 21.

It contains poems by 145 Penza authors and reproductions of 106 paintings by 33 local artists.

The author of the project and the editor-compiler is a member of the Union of Writers of Russia, poet Larisa Yashina. She, as well as poet Victor Kelh will lead the presentation.

In addition, the event will be attended by Penza writers and those coming from other towns, in particular, Vladimir Yurakov, Valery Sukhov, Nina Bogdashina, Alexandra Odrina, Mikhail Kirillov, Vyacheslav Filonov and Svetlana Popeea.

During the presentation, pictures of Ilya Shadchnev, Denis Santalov and Denis Korobkov included in the collection will be shown on a big screen. The artists themselves will also take part.

According Larisa Yashina, the event will be divided into eight parts – by the number of chapters.

"There will be a small video for each chapter. [..] The first chapter – the emergence of Penza on the Penza river, the second one – related to the military topic and so on," the interlocutor said.
