Penza, 21 May 2019. PenzaNews. 12,000 people visited the 9th international festival of jazz music Jazz May, which was held in Penza during three days. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

Over 40 bands performed at the festival in Penza. Most of them became participants of a concert at an open-air platform.

The evening concert on the first day featured performance of the trio of Anthony Strong from Great Britain and quintet of Yuri Psyanchin from Ekaterinburg, on the second day the guests could hear Moscow folk-jazz trio Kle2Go and Berlin drummer Benny Greb, while the third day featured David Helbock RandomControlan from Austria and an art project from the capital, Jazz Bass Theatre of Alexander Rostotsky.

All these performances gathered plenty of people at the large hall of the regional philharmonic.
