Penza, 2 October 2019. PenzaNews. At a request of PenzaNews, Tatyana Kravchenko, teacher of the Penza Children's Music School No. 1 and head of the Junior Choir, demonstrated the sound of the Nikolai Rubinstein Piano, which was handed over to the institution as part of the national project "Culture".
Commenting on the performed fragments of works, director of the Children's Music School No. 1 Tatyana Demina noted that people who are good at music can appreciate the evenness of the sound.
"It sounds like a piano to me – like a real royal grand piano. The musical instrument is very good!" the head of the institution said, adding that the appearance of the new piano in the walls of Children's Music School No. 1 was an unexpected and very pleasant surprise for teachers.
Tatyana Demina specified that the school had several dozens of pianos and nine grand pianos, two of which had been purchased in 1991 – when the last upgrade was made.
"At the moment we are fully equipped, but the material and technical base is becoming obsolete and needs repair. [...] I am incredibly grateful to the national project, which we are so happy about," the source of the agency explained.
