Penza, 26 May 2011. PenzaNews. A Gas storage with the capacity of 10 bln cu m will be built in the Spassky district of the Penza region. Plans for implementing a major investment projects was announced by the Governor Vasily Bochkarev during his meeting with the editors of the leading broadcasters of the region on Wednesday, May, 25.

He said: "We will be the suppliers of the blue fuel not only in many regions of Russia, but also abroad. This is a great project — it will generate the tax base of the Spassky district and of the whole region."

There will be built a gas compressor stations, a village and all necessary infrastructure in addition to the store in the district during the next four years.

The customer of the project is "Gazprom", the cost of the project construction is about 44 bln rubles.
