Penza, 14 July 2011. PenzaNews. Opening ceremony of the traditional exhibition-demonstration of agricultural machinery and  equipment "Day of field – 2011" took place in Mokshansky area of the Penza region on Thursday, July, 14th. The vice-governor of the region Sergey Zlatogorsky, the co-chairman of advisory council of agro industrial complex Alexander Samodelkin, the vice-president of the government of area of Marat Faizov, Minister of Agriculture Vladimir Volkov, and the representatives of agro industrial complex of the region and other visitors from 10 subjects of the Russian Federation took part in it.

The Minister of Agriculture of the Penza region Vladimir Volkov said: "This year we made a decision to put away the traditional scenario of carrying out "Day of a field" and to pay more attention to new technologies and kinds of plant growing which can promote more sustainable development of the region in the future".

According to vice-governor Sergey Zlatogorsky, the main task is to feed the country, using available potential.

The vice-governor underlined: "It's possible if we will be engaged in introduction of new grades and cultures. It would be desirable, that today we exchanged experience, so village revival depends directly on the development of agro industrial complex".

Experience of the Penza region in introduction of innovative technologies was especially noted by the co-chairman of advisory council of agro industrial complex of the Volga district Alexander Samodelkin.

Alexander Samodelkin said: "The theme of the action — "Preservation and reproduction of bio resources" is very interesting for me. It is necessary to be engaged. New directions always yield results in agriculture. Thanks to the Penza region for this performance".

The vice-president of government Marat Faizov said: "I hope that knowledge accumulated in the Penza region will be useful for the  participants of today's meeting and will fill the lacks which, unfortunately, remain empty".

During the first day of the exhibition the guests visited agriculture scientific research institute in Luninsky area where the landowners told about the ways of increase of the efficiency of potato growing by use of grades of different groups of ripeness and intermediate cultures.

During the day the participants of "Day of field" will take part in opening of exhibitions of domestic and foreign cars and tools for agriculture, and also round tables concerning tendencies of development of plant growing, vegetable growing and cultivation of nonconventional cultures.
