80 million rubles were invested in development of the Spassky pig complex

Spassk, 9 August 2011. PenzaNews. About 80 million rubles were invested in building and development of a pig-breeding complex of LLC "Selnaz" located in the Spassky area of the Penza region.

According to the director of the enterprise Sergey Gordeyev, about 40 million rubles were spent for erection of industrial premises, 10 million roubles for forages, 17 million rubles for purchase of young stock and 5 million rubles for specialized techniques.

Sergey Gordeyev said: "Since July of last year 17.7 thousand pigs were grown up and handed over in processing on cattle-poultry plant".

As he said, animals live on deep litters that allow providing cleanliness in premises, to reduce number of attendants and to develop secondary use of production wastes as the laying is applied as fertilizer and is exposed to the minimum processing.

Director of the pig complex said: "Now 10 persons work in a complex. The automated system of feeding allows one worker to serve 8 hangars of 250 pigs".

Sergey Gordeyev said that the average day additional weights make 700–900 grams, animals of 100–105 kg are given in processing.

According to the department of investment development of the Penza region, developing enterprise "Selnaz" provides residents of area with hi-tech workplaces and stable salary.
