Penza, 17 August 2011. PenzaNews. Session of the competitive commission on selection of business projects in sphere of small and midsize business led by the vice-president of the government of the Penza region Andrey Baevym started to work in a conference hall of the regional government of development of business on Wednesday, August, 17th.

The commission including representatives of public associations of businessmen, higher educational institutions and various state departments started opening of 372 packages with documents on reception of grants of 500 thousand roubles which were accepted from businessmen during the period from July, 12th till August, 11th, 2011.

The head of the department of the development of business of the Penza region Sergey Kapralov said: "36 million roubles are put  in the regional budget for grants of  500 thousand rubles. Thus, if each businessman receives the grant of the maximum size 72 business projects or to every fifth businessman will get the support".

He said: "However some businessmen, probably, will get help in the size less than 500 thousand rubles. In this case  more than 72 business projects will receive the support".

The co-ordinator of the projects of Association of young businessmen, the member of the competitive commission Olga Jurenkova assured that all business projects submitted to consideration will be carefully checked to avoid granting of fictitious documents.

She said: "Reciving of state support in accordance with the fictitious documents is classified as a swindle".
