259 million rubles will be allocated for building technopark in the Penza region

Penza, 24 August 2011. PenzaNews. The agreement between the department of town-planning of the Penza region and the Ministry of Communications and mass communications of the Russian Federation about granting subsidies from the federal budget to the budget of the region for creation and development of the objects of technopark in the sphere of high technologies was signed on Tuesday, August, 23rd.
The press-service of the department said: "The volume of money resources of the federal budget will be 259 million rubles. The same sum will be allocated from the budget of the Penza region".
During the session of the governmental commission of transport and communication which took place on August, 23rd under the chairmanship of the vice-president of the government of the Russian Federation Sergey Ivanov, he said that the program of building technoparks is prolonged till 2014.
Sergey Ivanov said: "Technoparks have already started to work in some regions. It is West Siberian innovative center in the Tyumen region, IT park and the first stage of technopolis "Chemical hailstones" in Tatarstan, the center of technological maintenance of innovative workings out in the Novosibirsk region and the first stage of Kuzbass technopark in the Kemerovo region".
At the same time he criticized some regions which participate in the program of building technoparks, but since 2006 they didn't make any object, and offered to consider the possibility to exclude the Kaluga region, the Moscow region and St.-Petersburg from the program.
According to the head Minekomsvjaz of Russia Igor Schegolev, principle of co-financing is correct that at the first stage of creation of technoparks funds are allocated from the regional budget but only then federal resourced are used.
Igor Schegolev underlined that the work of the program deserves not only positive appreciation, but also increase of financing.
The minister said: "The project of technoparks becomes fashionable. I consider that it is an effective1l measure for development of new technologies".
