Penza, 30 August 2011. PenzaNews. 400 bicycles were made by the largest Russian manufacture LLC "Penza bicycle factory". They were supplied for Tula branch of "Russian Post". This kind of transport is intended for postmen, working in countryside and serving the sites of 10 kilometers and all bicycles were already transferred to the regional post offices.

According to the press-service of the department of federal postal service of the Tula region, a branch of FGUP "Russian Post", the most of the bicycles are female ones, model "Sura".

The source in the press-service said: "According to the requirements of "Russian Post", the factory changed the construction of all bicycles taking into account specificity of their use in countryside. So, for example, the aluminum rim was changed to the steel one with zinc covering, ergonomics of seats and handlebar was improved, stronger tire covers were put. All bicycles follow corporate style of "Russian Post".

The bicycles will be provided with accessories of Russian manufacture directly from the factory if it is necessary.

16 thousand bicycles were bought for the employees of "Russian Post".
