Investors from Great Britain became interested in pectin manufacturing in the Penza region

St.-Petersburg, 9 September 2011. PenzaNews. The delegation of the Penza region carried negotiations with the representatives of the investment company from Great Britain concerning pectin manufacturing plant on the territory of the region.

The meeting took place within the limits of the international investment forum "PROEstate – 2011", which is held in St.-Petersburg on September, 7th-9th.

It is supposed that pectin manufacturing plant will be built near sugar factories of the Penza region and near potato cultivation and processing enterprises.

The representative of the department of investment development of the Penza region said: "The cost of one pectin manufacturing factory is 30 million US dollars".

According to the British side, five similar factories can be built on the territory of the region.

Further negotiations will be held during the 4th regional investment forum which will take place in Penza on October, 27th-29th.
