31 million dollars were invested in economy of the Penza region from the beginning of the year

Penza, 13 September 2011. PenzaNews. The volume of foreign investments in economy of the Penza region for the first half of 2011 was 31 million US dollars that is 4.3 times more than in the similar period of 2010.

The press-service of the regional government said: "Direct investments were 53.3%. Main countries-investors are the Netherlands, Germany and Cyprus".

The source in the press service said: "Realization of investment projects leads to increase of taxable base, new workplaces and growth of level of living of the region".
