Penza, 28 October 2011. PenzaNews. Company “Coca-Cola” lost more than 200 points of sale in Penza. It’s about 10% of sales, in connection with contract signing between the owners of trading pavilions and suppliers.

According to the representative of the Penza branch of “Coca-Cola of ABC Eurasia” LLC the lawyers have already started check of the legality of the transaction.
The representative of company “Coca-Cola” said: “Since September, 2011 the residents of Penza have no possibility to buy “Coca-Cola” drinks in round-the-clock pavilions. It was due to the owners of shops signed an agreement with companies “Fobus” and “Dionis” who sell “PepsiCo” production. It is known that one of contract conditions is refusal of realization production of the competitor in the shops. Our lawyers study the agreements to find out, whether there is an infringement of the law “About competition protection” or not”.
According to him, on the territory of Penza there are only 2 thousand sale points of company “Coca-Cola”.
The source of the company said: “Certainly, the loss of the tenth part of sale points led to the decrease in sales of “Coca-Cola” company, but we continue to strengthen the presence at the remained trading pavilions”.
