The Finnish company intends to start diesel engines manufacturing in Penza

Penza, 1 November 2011. PenzaNews. Large European company "Wärtsilä" intends to build diesel engines manufacturing factory in Penza.
According to the in Corporation of development of the Penza region, the project is calculated for two years, in summer 2013 the enterprise should start full capacity work.
During the 4th investment forum of the Penza region in the end of October the general director of “Wärtsilä” Zhelko Startsevich said: “There is good investment climate in Penza, the infrastructure is developed. It has a lot of experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Within the limits of realization of the project we intend to cooperate with Penza technological academy where competent engineers are prepared. And we intend to employ them”.
Company "Wärtsilä" was founded in 1834 in east Finland. It specializes on manufacture of ship power installations, power stations, screw mechanisms, control systems of a vessel and other equipment.
The company has 160 representations in 70 countries of the world. The main sales markets are in Europe, Asia, Africa, Northern and the South America.
