Penza, 9 November 2011. PenzaNews. The foreign trade turnover of the Penza region increased by 26 % up to 185.9 million dollars for 9 months of 2011 in comparison with the similar period of 2010.

The press-service of the government of the Penza region said: “The trade turnover with far abroad countries increased by 31 %, with the CIS countries it increased by 14.9 %. Export increased by 16 % up to 71 million dollars, import has grown by 32.8 % up to 114.9 million dollars”.

The department said: “There 223 participants of the foreign trade activities in the region. It is 8 participants more than for the similar period of 2010”.
