Vasily Bochkarev congratulated the staff of yeast factory that its work was resumed

Penza, 11 November 2011. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev visited the yeast factory "Penza" which renewed manufacturing process on Friday, on November, 11th after almost seven-mouth idle time.

The barmy factory was constructed in Penza in 1907 by a merchant Berezinym and is one of the oldest in Russia. Scale modernization of manufacture was held in the beginning of 2000th years, however the introduced technology was morally obsolete and the enterprise had losses.

During the meeting on July, 7th Governor Vasily Bochkarev signed an agreement with Ukrainian Ltd “Company “Enzim”.

According to the general director of the enterprise Yury Lyzhin, now factory production is 300–350 tons of yeast a day. 72 work there. There average salary is 14 thousand rubles and it will increase up to 16-17 thousand rubles in 2012.

Yury Lyzhin said: “Till the end of 2012 the output volume is to be 6 thousand tons a year, and till the end of 2014 the capacity of the enterprise will be 10 thousand tons. There are about 8 million euro investments”.

He has noticed that in future highly active yeast will be manufactured there and also the production technology of dry yeast will be introduced, Goods with brand “Penza yeast” are planned to be delivered to the countries of Europe. Penza yeast will compete with monopolists, manufacturers from France and Turkey.

Vasily Bochkarev examined the shops and estimated modernization of manufacture and also congratulated the staff that the factory is working again.

The head of the region said: “The yeast factory where the serious investor has come is a brand of Penza. And I thank the head of the enterprise that they allow the most part of former employees to return, including the veterans who gave a great part of their life to this enterprise”.
